- Jak2 positive, biopsy next: Does it mean I have blood cancer?

- JAK2 Mutation and enlarged spleen: What might it mean?
We all have a JAK2 gene, but sometimes it turns itself “on”into something like a mutation In my case, I have ET w JAK2 That’s essential thrombocythemia (high platelets) For almost 2 years, I’ve been on one baby aspirin every morning (and a second when I fly long distance) Aspirin doesn’t reduce platelets, but it makes them less

- JAK2 V617F positive, now what? - Mayo Clinic Connect
I have been tested twice and found positive results both times for JAK2 V617F I see Hematology in December but thought I'd ask this community what to expect moving forward I had a TIA in 2020, before testing positive (before any JAK2 testing) Does this mean that a diagnosis of blood cancer will definitely be in my future or, can people live a long time with positive results but no
