I took the route of setting up a project using the Angular CLI which installed latest Angular 20 0 0 set of packages I then added the ionic angular package which is 8 6 0 There were problems running ionic serve as the project name could not be recognized so I had to add --project= which overcame that but when I tried to run ionic generate and picked page it compained about path and name and
