My hubby has done 4 of the Imfinzi treatment as of this past friday He had CAT SCANS done a week prior to this Dr appt It appears that there is a little good news When first Dx of Cancer (April '19) one mass was 5 cm then in Aug it was 5 2 now it is 5 cm A few of the malignant lymph nodes have shrunk a little bit as well One 01 another 02 no change in other 3 But hasn't spread any

Hi Steve Imfinzi was a breeze for me Only side effects were fatigue that would knock me down without warning Only lasted for a few days at most Just listen to what your body is saying and go with it Minor side effects were a rash on my eyelid and weird skin sensations Weight gain is a side effect-eat healthy Going for a PET tomorrow which is 6 months after completion Nervous but

Imfinzi Survivors BDC posted a topic in IMMUNOTHERAPY I refused Imfinzi in 2024 It may be offered again ; 2nd surgery completed I would like to find recent information on quality of life issues after completion It seems like there wasn't much Maybe more time time is needed to gather patient data If anyone has seen a study, please let me know

Pre-Imfinzi, the Dr mentioned side effects, but said the would be immune related - eg pneumonitis, colitis, thryroid, etc No mention of effusion nor flu-like feelings to be expected

i was stage 4 also - chemo (carboplatin and alimta) and keytruda constipation was a problem remedied with magnesium oxide (400 mg twice a day), stool softener and miralax every day never had nausea but there are a couple of drugs out that work well you probably get one in your treatments along with steroids and other stuff i do take steroids the day before, the day of and the day after chemo
