- ECMlink - Setting my idle correctly. . BISS Adjustment?
I have a 1g with some strange issues I need to set my idle to about 1000rpms I believe and am having trouble doing so Can someone give me a full write up on how to do this correctly? I was super patient with making adjustments and nothing ever changed Reading 120 ICS Position drops down to

I had everything from stalling to erratic idle and after the flush it was much better and eventually it settled down completely I know my motor is a 420a but the ICS and ICM do about the same

The bypass plate blocked off the FIAV while still allowing the ICS to be used The lower portion of the throttle body is still used with the bypass plate The other option is taking the lower half off and just welding everything closed You must be logged in to view this image or video Now you can safely and effectively block the FIAV for free!

If you are going to remove both the ICS and FIAV it would be good to get a block off plate so you can remove the lower half of the TB to clean up the bay If you are going to only block the FIAV, turn the valve in all the way and it will close off the passage way No need for a bypass plate

Also on top of this my ICS, and my TPS were not getting a signal "bad", also my Temp sensor for the ECU was bad, and i had a hole in my intake manifold gasket and my injector seals were going out So last thing i have to do is wait for my TB to get here Wednesday and replace it Now i did convert my whole intake system and engine bay back to
