The HMS Victory is a sister kit in 1:72 (part of Caldercraft's "Nelson's Navy" Series) If the HMS Agamemnon kit an indication, ( the instructions are comprehensive, the quality of wood is excellent, the availability of period-correct paint and accessories is easy), the Victory kit should be great

I am working on a Sergal HMS Victory, and have reached the point where its time for some color I have several books on the Victory which show a yellowish color used on the actual ship around the gunports and the stern and side gallery trims Is there a paint that is the same color as the actual Victory (preferably measured in ounces not gallons!)

Probably not an HMS Victory though since I'm working on this one Wow, I am sure doing a lot of waffling and have been wearing out the net and YouTube researching various ship kits I'm even starting to taking a liking for the PO Frame models (like at Syren), but I have to have masts and full rigging because that's my favorite part of the build

I got a Mamoli HMS Surprise as an early birthday gift and couldn't wait to start work on it My only other experience with wooden model ships so far has been a OCCRE Polaris so i feel this is quite a step up from that My biggest shock was for sure the massive difference in manuals between the Polaris and surprise
