There is a gun shop in the little town of Wagram,NC called Mid South Guns They have the largest collection of guns I have seen in one place in a long time They must have over 400 long guns from under $150 to prices in the thousands Old revolvers and semi-autos to brand new Prices are as good as I have seen anywhere
- Is it safe to clean a gun with rubbing alcohol?
I Googled the question I posted in the subject line, and though people seem to agree that it's okay to clean the metal parts of a gun with rubbing alcohol--provided it contains a very high percentage of alcohol, like 91% or 99%--others caution that it can ruin the finish on some guns
