They claim tarpon migrate to spawn around the Florida Keys, then the population splits, with some traveling up the east coast and some traveling the Gulf "as far as the Mississippi River delta " If that's accurate, where do TX tarpon come from? Are our tarpon a subspecies that never migrates?

Gulf squid are great, when I was younger chartering out of Sea Ranch at SPI our group liked fresh squid over shrimp, now fishing mostly out of POC, I still get fresh squid when I can off the shrimp boats
