But I don't think geekbench 5 is that bad of a benchmark A lot of people give it shit simply because of how well iphones do They find "geekbench is a bad benchmark" to be easier to believe than "apple makes incredibly fast cores" Also, Geekbench is a very short benchmark, It probably completes before the iphone hits it thermal limits

People seem to hate Geekbench 5 here However, Geekbench 5 is highly correlated with SPEC (nearly 1:1) based on research done by the chip design team at Nuvia Just based on pure logic, shouldn't Geekbench5 be a better free CPU benchmark than Cinebench because SPEC is the standard in CPU benchmarking?

Decided to do something crazy and took the 13 inch iPad Pro M4 that I just bought and stuck it in the freezer for 10 minutes and ran the Geekbench 6 benchmark twice to see what would happen The best run for single core was the second run (top) and the best run for multi core was the first run (bottom) I managed to beat the score of the world record liquid nitrogen cooled one that scored 4001
