- Geekbench - Cross-Platform Benchmark - Reddit
Geekbench measures your system's power and tells you whether your computer is ready to roar How strong is your mobile device or desktop computer? How will it perform when push comes to crunch? These are the questions that Geekbench can answer
- Factors behind a Geekbench score and ways to increase. - Reddit
Factors behind a Geekbench score and ways to increase I've wondered what goes into a Geekbench score, and why systems that are similar can have multi-core scores that vary by thousands I just built a i9900k computer and oc'd to 4 7ghz I'm getting multi-core scores around 34000 It scored very similar at stock settings
- ELI5: Why does it seem like Cinebench is now the standard . . . - Reddit
People seem to hate Geekbench 5 here However, Geekbench 5 is highly correlated with SPEC (nearly 1:1) based on research done by the chip design team at Nuvia Just based on pure logic, shouldn't Geekbench5 be a better free CPU benchmark than Cinebench because SPEC is the standard in CPU benchmarking?
- Geek Bench Lower Scores than usual : r AMDHelp - Reddit
There were two different power options in Windows 11, one in the win 11 Settings the other in Control Panel, the one that I initially set to "Best performance" and did a Geekbench test which resulted to a lower score, was in Settings

- Tab A9+ comparison to. . . : r GalaxyTab - Reddit
As it says this is a basic comparison to other tablets I own that have about the same performance as benchmarked in GeekBench 6 2 2 after being optimized for maximum performance which was done after the initial set-up for each device when it was new
- Is Geekbench 5 a reasonable CPU benchmark? : r hardware - Reddit
But I don't think geekbench 5 is that bad of a benchmark A lot of people give it shit simply because of how well iphones do They find "geekbench is a bad benchmark" to be easier to believe than "apple makes incredibly fast cores" Also, Geekbench is a very short benchmark, It probably completes before the iphone hits it thermal limits
- The fallacy of ‘synthetic benchmarks’ : r hardware - Reddit
Geekbench makes a reasonable choice to only benchmark peak performance, by only running quick workloads, with gaps between each bench This makes sense if you're interested in the performance of the chip, independent of cooling This is likely why the fanless Macbook Air performs about the same as the 13" Macbook Pro with a fan
