Jan 27, 2008 Oddometer: 605 Location: Boulder, CO I put a Guts Racing seat on my 640 Adventure last season it's taller and flatter then the stock seat, with a anti-slip seat cover and damn comfy cushioning Makes the long days in the saddle a lot more comfortable Can't say enough good things about it!

SDG or Guts racing foam with new cover? The only concern I have about the taller seats is well the height Im 6' and the XR is one tall beast as it is Does adding another 1 5 to 2" make much of difference or am I making something out of nothing?

Thanks to Flanny I called up Guts Racing right here in Calif I ordered there medium firmness seat foam and their racing seat cover Took about two hours go'n very slow to strip off the old cover and foam, then glue on the new foam and then install the cover The cover is the most awesome nonslip cover they call the Gripper Very comfy

Looked at the Guts racing foam, gives you about an inch Looked at some custom stuff, but for the price, I think I can do what I need to do for a lot less I'm a pretty handy guy, also own an industrial Pfaff sewing machine and can sew up any cover I want I will be doing kinda of a build thread on this when I'm done, but wanted to get some

Has anyone tried the GUTS racing seat on their 690 Enduro? There is a little labor involved as they basically send you different seat foam a different cover Cost is $159 00 with that said anyone have a junkie seat for a 690 enduro? all that really had to be good is the pad

I've tried the guts tall hard option w an xr's only cover for the winter wet conditons in the Pacnorthwet It's a great option!!! Ikept it to find out if I wanted to run the Renazco in the winter I'm posting to sell the guts and xr's setup soon because: The way to go for the long haul is a Custom Renazco seat!!!!!
