I've got the new Graphtec FC8000 series (64") It came with a firmware glitch, but I've gottent hat sorted out fine now, and it cuts beautifully It's very much noisier (makes a loud rattling noise even though I checked to see if the blade was tight) than my other plotters though, and I was wondering what settings you guys see works well for

You need to know the print area the printer can utilize, but you set up your job in Flexi, apply any bleed and apply the contour cut, then select the whole thing and select the Contour Cut Marks tool select "Graphtec 4 Points Type 1" for the cropmarks type, 060 in the second box, 1 horizontal 1 vertical, 0 spacing both ways, and check the "One Set For All" box

It isn't even doing that much The settings are to use what the Graphtec is set to "currently" when each roll is loaded onto each plotter As they load the rolls on the plotters and put them on the take-up reels and find the first barcode they check to verify that the correct condition is selected for the material they loaded on

Lastly, when our Graphtec scans marks correctly, but will not cut, it usually means something is too close to the image or to the edge of the sheet - by something I mean the rollers, or the head (well, image too close to the edge will place the head too close to the edge ) for some reason the Graphtec will not cut very close to the outside

I am having an issue with my Graphtec FC-9000-140 It is cutting them deep enough in some spots However, some areas are not deep enough when cutting out on the same job The blade force is set at max and the depth is very deep and cut all the way through the vinyl a few times The top knob has been twisted a lot clockwise to make the depth deeper

I have tryed other blades, blade holders, springs, offsets, made sure carriage isnt lose, reset factury settings, used cutting master 2 3, have newest firmware and more Let me know, if there is anything you need from me, to solve this neverending problem 1
