You can feel the bush piles when using a drop shot weight and a jig that is made weedless So you know when you are in the bush pile I guess everyone has a favorite rod depending on how the fish I know a long time ago (25 years ago) we used long bambo poles to fish while anchored

Where to put condos? I am getting gung ho, plenty of bambo next door and not much in the way of structure in my pond There is a creek bed that runs about 15 feet from the shore, but it is only 6 or 8 ft deep, where the deep part of the pond is about 20 ft, would I do better in the creek or deep?

Big George, just my opinion but I would try to get green bambo, it will last alot longer We have sections of old bambo like you are talking about and that stuff is brittle, breaks real easy
