Frisk could very well be a vessel created by someone (Gaster?), though for what purpose I'm unsure Freeing the Underground is the most obvious answer since the credits roll and everyone is saved

Frisk is their own person with their own likes, dislikes, quirks etc The situation between Undertale Frisk and Deltarune Kris is a lot more similar than most of the fandom would claim Frisk is *capable* of attempting to resist the player's control like Kris, but interestingly they actually don't do it during the genocide route
