Engine 5 7 while at the dealers, i test drove a grand cherokee with a 5 7 in it I don't know what it had for exhaust, but, damn, that thing was loud inside and out definitely not for an old man lol My Ram spoiled me Jul 31, 2024

Hemi 5 7 I went the other way with the Flowmaster Super 40, a little quieter than the FlowFX and perfect for me Has the deep rumble of the Hemi but not too loud to bother the neighbors unless you get on it in the driveway You can definatly hear the rumble in the cab when you give it gas, enough to make it more enjoyable to drive but not too

Engine 5 7 I just put the Magnaflow 18" muffler $115 on my Sport with duals, I had a piece of 3" pipe from my 03' that I used for the extension piece, I also used the dual band clamps that hold both pipes at the joints The dual out I believe was 4" OC instead of the stock 5"OC but it worked out fine

I run a pair of Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers with 1¾" Stainless Long Tube Headers and an X-Pipe with no cats on my 2004 5 7 HEMI I have always liked the sound of the 40 Series They are a great sounding muffler IMO Glad you like the sound

Stock mufflers are very restrictive Look up videos on YT showing stock mufflers cut apart and you'll see what I mean Magnaflow is basically a straight through muffler Flowmaster has a little more restriction than Magnaflow but it's still a lot less restrictive than stock I have Magnaflow on my 5 7 I just like the sound of Magnaflow over
