I downloaded a software from filecr I opened the application and it was working fine, then I saw a zip folder named KEYGEN in the main folder, I thought maybe it generates some keys for the application, it didn't occur to me that the application was working just fine and didn't ask for some license key and still I extracted that file, now the moment I extracted it my antivirus detected the

Hi, So I use (d) FileCR a lot, and it works great for macOS apps, but then i went to download a program for Windows from them I downloaded the zip, extracted it, and then, Defender came up with an alert It said There were two files that were identified as 'Wacatac' That scared the shit out of me So I quickly got rid of the extracted folder and trojans with defender, then did a scan It

FMHY said FileCR is the bad actor but if you look at the offending files, they're the same ones that get shared on sanet before that and pretty much any other public site The original source of the malware is unknown Since the same offending files are on pretty much all sites, I personally feel like it's wrong to single-out FileCR

I use all adobe products from filecr and only once did I get trojan warning (for the latest version of photoshop) Premiere pro works good
