Exterminator is one of the weaker classes so don't listen to these people telling you he's super powerful The idea of exterminator competing with sorceress swordsman archer is laughable That being said try to try to get fire items as others have mentioned and max out your memory reverb potions to get more burn damage general damage

The exterminator has the plain medium armor stats plus "Fortified" perk There is another medium armor with that perk in the Superstore called B-24 Enforcer which trades speed and stamina for even more armor I personally don't like the Enforcer because I value speed over minor raw armor improvements
