You cannot switch it online It sounds like they added an entirely new phone line with a new phone number on the value plus plan which is an individual plan only You'll have to contact AT T about doing a transfer of billing responsibility to add that phone line to your unlimited starter plan
- Call forwarding for an account that is not linked to a phone
May I have calls to the phone number forwarded to a different phone on another provider and stay on the existing account? The answer may require reference to the account number

It's funny too since in the store there is a sign that says they treat existing customers the same as new customers Clearly, that isn't true, or is there actually a way to switch to the online only plan for an existing customer?

Thanks for posting If you are upgrading to the Galaxy in-store, the rep will make sure to activate a new SIM card with your existing phone number If you upgrade online, you will select your line with your phone number, and the system should recognize that you need a different SIM; you should receive it in the package with your new device

I did call customer retention and spoke with a young lady who pretty much told me to pound sand I was expecting some kind of offer for being a longtime loyal customer ( I am a business owner who understands the value cost of keeping an existing customer compared to advertising and competing for a new customer)
