- Windows 7 64bit Disabled (Down arrow) in DCOM
I've just installed 3 identical laptops and used the user transfer tool to transfer the users data We've noticed now that on 2 of the laptops, DCOM has a down arrow Anyone know the cause? The other laptop is fine Regards Chris Moved byArthur_LiMicrosoft contingent staffMonday, May 10, 2010 8:14 AM (From:Windows 7 Virtualization) Thursday, May 6, 2010 1:19 PM

Two weeks back had updated my windows after which the system is not shutting down completely, i e even though the screen, hard disk etc are switched off, system fans are still running and to shut the system completely I have to hold the power button on the laptop Have tried the windows recovery for factory default then also the problem persists Henceforth if anybody has solution for this
- System restore slowed down laptop and Chrome wont open
But now my laptop takes a long time to start up and Chrome takes forever to open Once it is open it's fine for a while then I notice I can't click on anything or scroll down so I close it and can't open it again Then I have to go to Task Manager and end all tasks relating to Google Chrome because apparently it's still running
- When I connect laptop to tv my laptop screen goes blank
try changing the display settings on your laptop before connecting the hdmi cable Use extend or duplicate from the mutiple display drop down list 1- Right click on your desktop 2- choose screen resolution 3-select from multiple display
- Remote Desktop - restore down and then maximize full screen.
I too have the same problem: connect to a remote server with full screen, shrink down, then maximize and get scroll bars and about 7 pixels of the desktop on the right side, however it behaves like full screen (no title bar, and the connection bar appears if I move mouse to top of the screen)
- Performance of Windows 7 On Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop
Hey, I have a Dell Vostro 1000 laptop with dell 1390 wireless card When i'm using windows 7, somethimes my signal is sttoped and turn on again after few minutes
- desktop icons scroll off-screen with mouse movement with multiple monitors
I often plug my tiny laptop screen into a much bigger monitor and use both in an "extended desktop" setting When I do, everytime the desktop is in focus and my mouse approaches the top or bottom edge of my laptop screen, the icons scroll down or up, respectively I don't really like this behavior but I can't figure out how to turn it off!
- Event ID 10 error every boot - social. technet. microsoft. com
Then it seemed to only remove the log entries, because after a reboot, i had the same problem back event 10, at random, about 5 a day, and the laptop would shut down and restart This first appeared after installing service pack 1 for vista , whilst updating a new laptop
