Hi, I’ve been trying to set up bootcamp and have windows 10 installed on an external SSD (using an iMac 27inch 2020 with Big Sur) but when I try to install bootcamp in windows it freezes trying to install the drivers with the error message ‘enumerating pre-install packages’

Can confirm that ASUS ArmoryCrate makes Hwinfo crash at Enumerating Buses I had to Download the ArmoryCrate uninstall tool and after uninstall it worked no problem Even after a year later

Yes it’s there when I run setup exe from windows support\bootcamp, it says “enumerating pre-install packages” then displays a pop-up saying that “Windows installer has quit working” If I click the close X, it appears to continue and the progress bar fills in, leaving me to reboot
