You wondered what made me think it was Thomas s of John who married Anne and moved to Morchard Bishop following his son Nathaniel As you know, there are a few John Els (t)ons available as fathers for Thomas, 1611-1687, and for Robert Elston bap 1599, also a son of John (Quite a gap between the two: good reason to wonder if they're related ) 1572 John, son of Robert Age 39 when Thomas born
