EGT's aren't effected as much as one would think with "cold air" within reason Not to mention boost PSI holding at or climbing past 6 PSI sustained starts heating the intake air post-CAC more than you realize Any device used to monitor EGTs is a nice thing to have not a requirement

OEM EGT sensors are no more accurate than any other EGT sensor The data signal still needs to be converted to a reading My experiences using the Edge CTS3 w EAS EGT sensor and the OEM EGT sensor used for the EGTR11 PID shows the readings are not that different Are they 100% exactly the same at the same time??

Am considering the new EDGE Insight which is apparently able to read the EGT sensors already present on the 08's, Has anyone tried that and determined whether the EGT readings are comparable to an old style EGT probe gauge?

I installed the straight pipe and h and s minimaxx on my truck and was planning on doing the egr delete this weekend but how does the minimaxx read egt's or is there a probe I need to buy?

Is this reading boost from an incorrect location and in need of a correct seperate probe such as the egt probe? Or am I having a serious issue with the turbo or intercooler? And my other question is in regards to the egt probe, does the egt gauge appear on the tuner after connecting it to an egt probe itself?
