EDF 5 is strictly better in terms of QoL and mechanics (albeit, harder difficulties have gold ants and silver spiders whereas 2025 4 1 didn't introduce them until DLC) Air Raider is actually good and usable besides being a vehicle dropper I'm currently working on 100% the achievements in 2025 and I can say that it is a very fun game

The 50mm Habu is really forgiving for an EDF, and it's small enough to effortlessly hand-launch Cut flaps in, and it slows down even more gracefully, to the point that you can easily float it in for short-field belly landings without a long strip to bleed speed

Of what I've played and remember, Insect Armageddon is my favorite so far, 2017 seemed to have cooler stuff than 2025 (I remember better enemy variety in 2017 than I'm seeing in 2025 and InsArm had better objective AND enemy variety) what do yall think are the best worst EDF games? Why?
