Quick internet search suggests to install DirectX, specifically DX9 The last DirectX SDK that ships xaudio 2 7 dates back to June 2010 I'm surprised the game still looks for it Microsoft seems to have already removed the downloads for it, however, the DLL should already exist I have XAudio2_7 dll in C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64
