That thing is the virtual folder "desktop" (right) which acts as the root for Shell Namespace Virtual folders (Desktop, Documents, all the library stuff) never show paths because they are merely enter image description here a "View" not a file location Also it shows contents in explorer which obviously can't be located in there (blue marker)
