In short „Dell Command“ and any update component is just not needed, for the simply fact, that most of the needed updates come from „Windows Update“, and to be fair, most of „Dell“ updates are downgrades, this is most evident with BIOS updates, as they continue to hinder performance and options associated with your CPU

I just bought Dell G15 and experience the same with Dell Support assist maybe I will just not use that Dell support assist as it also crashed my laptop I used Dell Update software for the update of its bios and anything within my laptop I used AVG driver update to update other drivers as Dell wasn't able to do that really and used AVG tuneup to optimize my system
