- DS4 Injection Pump Output - The Truck Stop
I am looking for more information on the DS4 pump I am in the process of trying to build a 6 5 and before starting the build I talked with several of the reputable 6 5 builders out there (Heath and Peninsular Diesel mainly) Peninsular said max output of their DB2 pump was around 310-315hp
- The DualSense is superior to the DS4 in every way, except. . . - ResetEra
The first thing I noticed was the DS4's D-pad while scrolling though the menus It's damn near perfect! (I never owned a VITA, so don't @ me!) The DS's D-pad is fine, but man do I wish they would've found a way to keep that DS4 magic alive here as well It's so much snappier (the PS-button I noticed was a lot easier to find and slightly more
- Anyone seen this rant on the DS4? - The Truck Stop
The total pumping range of the DS4 is about 75 or 80 cubic millimetres of fuel - even more than the mechanical DB pump However, adding boost, lowering intake air temperature (via an intercooler), and careful mapping of injection timing is the 'right' way to do it
- Modifying a DS4 | The Truck Stop
Looks like something I did a while back I can't find anyone willing to try modded parts for a ds4 There is so much that can be done You are on the rite track Those fittings on the back of the pump have a "delivery valve" in them There is a certain "shoulder" there that can be machined off
- DS4 Injector Lines Are Bigger - The Truck Stop
All DS4 IP use the 3 4" outside diameter line nuts on the IP side All injection lines are 3 4" outside diameter nuts where the line attaches to the actual injector Those adapters look like a conversion so you can use your original 6 5 DS4 lines on a DB2 conversion
- Controllers input lag comparison - ResetEra
The difference between DS3 and DS4 is 7 3ms Your TV only refreshes every 16 7ms (or every 33 3ms for a 30fps game) Any non-placebo lag differences you are encountering between the generations are more likely due to the more powerful hardware, engine improvements or perhaps even your TV if you've changed it
- DS4 conversion to DB2 - The Truck Stop
The DS4 was built during the Low sulfur diesel days and can withstand it a bit more IMHO Too bad Dieselpro never came over To me replacing my ds4 with a db2 would be like ripping off the fuel injection to put a carb back on but that's JMO I can you you I was lovin my DS4 when all I had to do to install cruise in my truck was swap the t S
- DS4 IP rebuild time (mechanical aspect only) - The Truck Stop
I took a DS4 5521 IP apart about a yr ago Sorry no pics of that I managed to get my hands on a parts break down and spec sheet and some instructions how to stick the thing back together from a friendly pump mechanic Dismantling the pump is actually easy
