I'm thinking of making some overnight trips to the coast and sleep in local hotels I've seen posts of yaks being stolen recently What are some suggestions on keeping my yak safe while on the back of my truck? I'm thinking of running some wire cable through the scuppers and locking it to the truck frame or something to that effect Any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks RxForFishing

I guess it all depends on the kayak too If you have a good battery (i have a powerspec suggested by bassyak) you can run on it all day I been out 8-10 hr with out ever running out of juice I'v come pretty close though because I was trolling all up and down Jones bay
