Actually, with discount airlines like Frontier, Allegiant, and Spirit, they do tend too drop prices significantly much closer to the date of the flight but which flight day time and when they do it can be unreliable

Allegiant does have sales occasionally but the flights you want may or may not go on sale If you are comfortable with the $149, book it Allegiant has tiered pricing, x number of seats at a certain price, when they are sold the pricing moves up to the next tier (ie: $67 to $79 to $92 to $104 just examples, not actual prices)

With the Allegiant website, you have to get pretty far into it before you see those fees With other airline's websites, the fees are clearer at an earlier stage in the booking process However, I think the rule is now that you have 24 hours to cancel with no penalty for every airline

When we did that, we got a $100 "surprise" when we picked up our car in the form of taxes and fees that were not included when we rented our car directly the Allegiant I would check out the full, final price with booking thru Allegiant vs booking thru the rental car agencies that Sanford has onsite, along with checking a site like hotwire com
