Former is resolution, latter is size IIRC, Cricut brings images in at the right size at 144 dpi If you want to print with higher resolution, a common “hack” is to print from DS to PDF, then open in an image editor at the resolution of your choice, paste your higher res images on top of the Cricut printed images, then print from that software
