- Colposcopy couldnt see my cervix? Not sure where I stand
Hi everyone! I’m looking for a little advice or to see if anyone has been in a similar situation as I’m a little confused after my colposcopy today Brief background Last year had a smear with hpv positive and borderline changes Went for colposcopy all looked ok so said come back in a year This year I go back, hpv positive and changes have moved up to CIN 1 I go for the colposcopy

Was recalled last month for smear which came back borderline changes, went for colposcopy again and had 2 biopsies They came back HPV positive and CIN1 and then ungraded CIN with endocervical crypt involvement
- LLETZ procedure under general anaesthetic
The results came back and I had to go for a colposcopy The results from the biopsy came back as CIN2 I had an appointment in March and the consultant said that I had a choice to monitor it or have LLETZ there and then I decided to go down the monitoring route, and went back in October for another biopsy

Hi all, Just joined in a bit of a panic I had an abnormal smear with high risk hpv in March 2021, colposcopy in April 2021 I got a letter saying there were clear margins and to get a routine smear 6 months later This should have been done in Nov 2021 but due to other medical conditions (unrelated) and Covid meaning much longer wait for a smear, I didn’t get this until end January 2022

Hi all I have been today for a colposcopy after receiving the news that I have high grade severe changes I signed to say I was happy to have the letz treatment at the same time but the nurse decided not to do it and just took a biopsy instead? I know other girls that have had the letz treatment there and then without Biopsy so am now panicking that mine must be worse or something is wrong

Hi everyone, I’m just hoping someone could give me an idea of what to expect after being told I’m CIN3? The communication from my hospital has been very lacking confusing! I got a letter after my colposcopy and biopsy stating CIN3 and that they’d referred me for a hysteroscopy (last November) Ive been sent an appointment letter with a consultant for April, but heard nothing about the

So my past 4 or 5 smears have been positive for HPV but no abnormal cells - my last smear results came back HPV high risk no abnormal changes but need to have a colposcopy

Hi having been a nervous wreck waiting for my colposcopy results, on the verge of meltdown by the time the day came, I drove miles and got dh out of work, only to be told that the biopsies were inconclusive! Gah! so, doc wants a cone biopsy done ASAP, to clarify type depth of abnormal cells, with a view to prob needing more treatment after that But it was only when I got home that I started
