after checking the box in msconfig that says memory i check it and it shows up 16gb but after reboot it no longer shows up as 16gb but goes back to zero? prossesor is 4, memory is 16gb, prossesor stays at 4 while checked, memory always goes back to zero, windows 7 x64 home prem thanks lots,

To make the matter worst, today I installed WinX DVD ripper again and landed up with the same situation Then after many try I didn't get my DVD drive back So as a last resort, I went back to restore point "2 Days old" But still couldn't see the drive back But once I ran "Windows auto update and got KB2267602 installed, the DVD started appearing in the drive
