I am running them full range with no subs as I sold my two Mach 5 18's last winter, and "Reference Stereo" on the XMC-1 playing through the 753 is outstanding, it did take a bit of placement and especially moving those two absorption panels around, but it is now sounding absolutely wonderful, kudos to Chane on these speakers I can't recommend
