- Celestion G12H-30 s VS Vintage 30s - The Gear Page
I have a 1960 AV cab and it says Vintage speakers by Celestion - I've heard these are the V30 and I'm surprised because these sound very warm with my Marshall Plexi's
- Do Celestion Neos suck or am I missing something?
I've been experimenting with different speakers for the first time, and I tried out Celestions Neo V Type and Neo Creamback I'm running them with various Marshalls and I've always loved the sound of V30s but decided to try the Neo models for some 212s I have to save weight The Neo V Types
- The Final Fender Deluxe Reverb Best Speaker Thread!
For the last 2-3 years I’ve been running a Celestion Creamback 65 watt G12M in my original non-reverb 1964 Fender Deluxe Seems to fit the volume levels I need with the bands I play with currently, retains a nice clean tone but still handles dirt well
- celestion Alnico Cream vs 75 Creambacks - The Gear Page
Here's a quick comparison of various Celestion speakers with a high gain riff recorded with my Diezel Herbert You can hear speakers on their own and combined with the Alnico Cream Watch in full screen
- Opinions RE: Celestions IRs - The Gear Page
On the Axe III, the Celestion single mic IRs, especially the 2x12s, sound very bright and clear to me, to the point where I'm looking into getting a few Unfortunately they're pretty expensive Click to expand I'm not an IR expert but I like the Celestion IR's Yes, the single mics seem to work well for me for going direct to PA
- Celestion g12-65s bigger brother - The Gear Page
I have a celestion 12-65 heritage but I’ve never compared the two But they both sound incredible Neither have ever let me down And the scumback sounds way better to my ears than the G12K in the Orange That doesn’t make the K a bad speaker It clearly isn’t Some metal guys like to mix them with vintage 30’s, or so I’m told
- ?? Pre-Rola Celestions??? | The Gear Page
Yeah, there is a difference I can't tell you when it happened or what all the specifics are But, those pre-Rola speakers with the Pulsonic cones sound different than the mid-70s era and later Celestions (which still sound fantastic) I'm sure some experts can chime in more than I can Especially Jim from Scumback
- Creamback Vs Greenback - The Gear Page
another pretty good combo I had before switching to the Scumback m75 was my CB65 with a Celestion G12-65 Eventually though, I felt like the G12-65 was darker than the CB65-a bit too dark for my taste
