In Carlson the point attributes come in as a point block with the attributes on separate layers You can explode the point blocks to separate attributes and do whatever with the text

I am having a heck of a time importing points onto an existing dwg? Is there a tutorial on how to do this?? Or can anybody give me a bulleted list of what to do? I import the points from a csv file Then I try and Draw-locate points but it draws in another dwg than the one I want? I think that I am a bit confused about the crd files and where it gets assigned to? tHanks for the help

I imagine that this has been asked before but I cannot find a post - I only have the Carlson Survey 2019 with IntelliCAD, is there a way to import Google Earth imagery without having to purchase more modules? Thanks

Zooming in or only having the snap method you want enabled is generally safer really depends on how you are working Personally, I map some F-keys to toggle the common snaps on off Another very useful one in Carlson is the Point object snap, see Settings | Point Object Snap On Off menu It is also is the Snap section of the Draft ribbon

Hello all, I'm using SurvCadd to figure out cut fill quantities As many of you know, doing this by Triangulation is much faster and IMO much more efficient than using a grid file Comparing grid files at higher resolutions seems to take hours compared to 10 minutes with Triangulation The downside of using triangulation is that I seemingly cannot make a cut fill color map Is there a way to

When i am calculating up big jobs, such as roads, I create different point layers for the different things that need to be staked like all the different underground utilities And every time it makes four different layers for each set of points, the list of layers gets long really quick Just looking to shorten it up Thanks
