- Cambro Food Storage Containers - eGullet Forums
Cambro boxes are more reasonably priced, but I find the available materials quite confusing As a poster suggested above, the Camwear GripLids sound perfect for chocolate storage, and they come in the right size (around $17 for each lid + the cost of the box)
- Hot chocolate for outdoor events - any experience?
Air pots like you see in most coffee shops will keep hot coffee and hot chocolate at servable temps for several hours What kind of volume are you looking at? Most of them hold about a liter and a half and can be bought through just about any restaurant supply company For very large batches you might look at Cambro drink dispensers They also hold hot beverages pretty well
- Getting stubborn odors out of storage containers?
For extremely persistent odors in Cambro containers, I get some activated charcoal at an acquarium supply store and put a cup of it in the container in a bowl that will fit inside (I have a Pyrex bowl that is never used for anything else) For beverage containers (plastic) I put the charcoal in a narrow tea infuser

- Storage containers for flour, cornmeal, etc - eGullet Forums

- Hotel Pans in the residential kitchen - eGullet Forums
I also started using the plastic CAMBRO and Rubbermaid equivilents Today I keep some of these around the kitchen for everyday use I find that these clean up easier than most of the consumer kitchen products I have around Does anyone else out there use these at home or do the esthetics of consumer pans and storage containers win out?
- Bowl to Let Bread Dough Rise In - Kitchen Consumer - eGullet Forums
Another fan of Cambro, Super versatile I have several 2,4,and 6 qt round containers in the pantry at any given time One of the 6 qt is dedicated to dough recipes (2 loaf usually) , the others can be used for smaller or additional loaves I like the easy to read graduations, and as mentioned above they're great to put in fridge for slow rises
- Selling Chocolates at Shows and Farmers Markets
I was thinking of using these Cambro half sheet size containers to store different flavours in my upright freezer I'm assuming they would hold 2 layers? I'm quite confident that with an absorbent pad on top - and if the lid fits tight - the chocolates would be just fine
