In TJ Wranglers, Jeep wised up and welded this joint, but for CJ's and YJ's, the metal was free to rub if the door flexed and this is a common cause of rust on the door frame I've welded these joints and have sculpted the weld to make nice fillets The second thing I want to fix prevent are the stress cracks that develop by the vent window frame
