A friend of mine is the guy that runs this CHP incident page He just (20 minutes ago) made a cool change- after selecting an incident (so you see details), you can now click on the Lat Lon coordinates and it will open a new tab with Google maps and a pin right at the incident location Try it out and post feedback- Browser, OS, phone, issue, etc ) he wants to make sure its working for everyone

The crash involved a truck and motorcycle and was reported at 5:51 a m , according to the CHP Traffic Incident page The crash was at the intersection of Monterey Highway and San Martin Avenue

The accident happened around 6:00 a m on southbound I-880 just under the Hwy 92 overcross, CHP said Police said the Harley-Davidson rider was splitting lanes when he hit a truck and was thrown from this bike He was then hit by the truck He died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene No one else was injured, CHP said

My wife and son just drove by it today at 3:45: traffic accident with a bike down, right at the Bear Creek Skyline corner (where Skyline starts, and where Bear Creek going towards Boulder Creek stops being Hwy 35) Motorcyclist down, bystanders giving CPR The CHP web site now lists it as a fatality The CHP has closed Bear Creek completely
