It is defective The CDI box is sending its 12V pulse to the coil, as it should, but the coil is unable to properly transform it Nothing, or an inconsistent blink of the test light, indicates that your ignition coil is not recieving its proper trigger pulse from the other components of the bike's ignition system

got a 1987 warrior 350, getting no spark out of the ign coil, ive done all the test and everything comes back fine, ive tried different stators, cdi boxes, rectifiers new key switch, and kill switch but i noticed that i would get 35v AC out of the red and brown wire coming from the stator

My CDI box has 12 wires and I believe it is a 90-95 also my stator has 7 wires please any help is much appreciated a CDI box wiring diagram with wire description particularly would be awesome Thanks

The CDI 3 prong (Y B, W B, G Y) and 2 prong (B, B W) plugs match colors, however the 4 prong plug does not These wires come from stator pickup I have red and white coming from pickup and green and brown from stator, however on the CDI, I have red, blue, yellow and white green These are the four wires I'm trying to match up

The orange wire out of CDI is still constant ground I don't know if this is being caused by A) the CDI itself or B) one of the inputs (clutch switch, neutral or ignition cutout relays?) to the CDI Is there a way to test the CDI itself? The pulse generator and pickup coil seemed to test within spec for Ohms

Just replaced the stator and cdi has great spark but will not fire spits fuel out the carb and tried to pop start it and just back fires out the exhaust If I hold my hand over the exhaust it almost wants to fire sometimes Also it has the powroll 430 kit on it I don`t think that would have anything to do with it but I am out of ideas
