I am trying to create a process which opens a session with IBM i Access Client Access Personal Communication using UiPath Terminal Activities I have manually created a WS file within the emulator and now I am trying to use it to initiate a connection in Terminal Session like this: The Terminal Wizard is opened and I get this error: I am able to use the same WS file to access the session manually How do I proceed to use this session and enable data entry to the application?

Don’t use Kill Process Just use Close Window However, is this a window that opened because you used the Terminal Session activity to open it? If so, check the Close Connection box in the Terminal Session activity properties and it’ll close when it is done executing the steps inside the Terminal Session activity Also, I highly recommend using Direct Connection instead of third-party terminal clients Direct Connection is faster and more reliable

Solution: We used Using IBM ELLAPI Dropdown We installed IBM Personal Communication and located following dll files and everything started working C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Personal Communications\pcshll32 dll Once this is done it will fist connect to terminal and ask for credentials and take you to welcome screen

Hey @aksh1yadav Unfortunately you can not connect with uipath internal as a provider to connect with IBM mainframes That is why you have a dedicated provider listed in the provider list So select Either IBM Personal Communication as a provider or IBM EHLLAPI Or Reflection Depends on your needs and things availability You can search on forum about terminal connection with IBM mainframes Like 3270 and As400 so search it Regards…!!
