If you need to download VMware Tools installation images, go to the Broadcom support portal VMware Tools are considered a free download and can be found in the free product list where you download Workstation Pro (just look for VMware Tools instead of VMware Workstation Pro) Note that you do not and should not use VMware Tools for Linux VMs

And Broadcom has placed the ISO's in a place that is not free for registered users For me the only option is to use the default, non-customized ESXi 8 0U3 ISO, or find someone who is willing to provide me the ISO or move away from ESXi (and VMWare Broadcom)
