I am developing a Windows Phone 7 application using Bing Map Services I have some custom locations which I can display on the Bing Maps I would like to overlay on this map nearby restaurants, grocery stores etc I would like to query Bing map search services using the address of the user location (or latitude and longitude information) and get a location (latitude, longitude) list of nearby

The old version of the Bing Maps website has been retired and won't be coming back The birdseye imagery is identical in both sites The only difference was that in the old site it used to show the aerial imagery at a 45 degree angle where birdseye imagery wasn't available

The logo can't be hidden This was something that was being considered and we had setup at one point, but after all the mobile support that was recently added, the map now uses logos that are better suited for mobile screens It's also worth noting that previous versions of Bing Maps didn't allow you to remove the logo either

Essentially it will parse the data as well, but it will use built in tools in Bing Maps to do this Alastairs book "Beginning Spatial with SQL 2008" has a good example on how to do this If you don't have the book just search for it I believe one of the sample chapters covers the syndication of GeoRSS
