I was with USAA for banking since 2013, but was considering switching banks in mid-2023 There's nothing *wrong* with USAA's banking platform - solid bank, but not much in incentives to stay there Interest rate sucks (like it does with most brick mortars), no great features, etc I checked Ally and then heard about SoFi

I’ve been in banking for 10 years and yes, there are some genuinely awful people working at middle management and the executive level and psycho clients, but that’s every industry the higher up the chain you get I’ve found a smaller bank with much better people working there and don’t have much interaction with clients in my role

The UX is quite nice, my only complaint is no dark mode in Banking, but I’m sure that will trickle in someday I did receive my $250 bonus for setting up dd of 5k+, that was a nice surprise

Google Wallet works, my banking app works, McDonalds app (which is apparently more demanding security-wise than my banking app) also works Play Integrity API Checker I tried using it, but I was running into request limit literally 90% of the times I wanted to use it, so I got rid of it I can recommend TB Checker instead Never ran out of

Signaling a standardization of the investment banking recruiting process, since by definition there's a limited pool of questions and all the questions fit in one of ~7-8 different qualitative buckets that they are testing for Broadening the scope of the candidate pool outside of the traditional ~30 or so schools makes a lot of sense
