I have a 308 BLR with 18 5" bbl I get ~2600 with 165gr AB's Haven't shot anything past 300yd with it yet but my ballistic table suggests my loads should have adequate velocity for expansion to 500yd The 308 is a very efficient cartridge From what I understand, it only needs an 18" barrel for a complete burn with mid-hvy bullets

I shot the bbl out of a 2-77's and a Savage in Swift with the following load: Win Brass fed 210 50g Nosler Ballistic tip 43-44 5g of AA 2700 depending on the rifle accuracy 350 or less at 100 Velocity 4000 fps The AA 2700 will give you much longer bbl life than IMR 4064 which proved to eat up the throat on the first 77 that I had this load also proved to shoot very well as

I'm a big fan of PWS AR platform rifles and came across this Seems like a decent deal from a great company, but I don't know a lot about the chassis rifle world I have a couple 300 Wby rifles, and was considering trying something in the 338 or 375 flavors I have a Blaser R8, so I could just grab a 338 LM or 375 H H barrel and call it good, too
