- Is ArtRage 6 a good program? Or is there a better alternative? : r . . .
Is ArtRage 6 a good program? Or is there a better alternative? Hello, today I was gifted a drawing tablet, and it came with ArtRage 6 for free However, as this is my first digital art tablet (besides the iPad), I’m not very familiar with these programs in general Is it okay for a beginner? Or are there better quality ones I should look at?
- ArtRage isnt coded properly? Line wobble
"Unfortunately that's because ArtRage isn't coded properly It's using desktop-resolution mouse x y coordinates instead of your tablet's high precision coords (it only samples pressure from the tablet) " So, that leaves me with a new set of questions Has anyone else had the wobbly line problem with a non-Wacom tablet Cintiq? If so, how was it
- Allow Palette Knife to hold more paint, but not thicker paint. . . Ill . . .
In Artrage the knife runs out of paint quickly The loading setting only makes it more impasto I don't really need more impasto as much as I would need the knife to not run out of paint so quickly A setting to lengthen the brush stroke of the knife would be great Thanks 10-03-2021 #2 nekomata Senior Member Join Date Oct 2016 Posts 300
- ArtRage 5. 0. 8 - And still no dual monitor sollution
For those who don't know, you can't use Artrage 5 with dual monitors, because the brush offsets a lot Me and other people already reported this, but still in this version this problem persists I really like painting in Artrage and the second monitor helps to put the reference images and not lose space on the main monitor
- Upgrade from ArtRage 4 to 6
artrage 6 has custom brush tool, which now supports depth, and does a very beautiful textured wet paint experience that is different from the classic oil brush, with a somewhat different blending model

- Artrage or Opencanvas : r XPpen - Reddit
OpenCanvas: afaik and as far as I tried, it's a bit CSP-ish but kinda confusing a bit, some learning curve but you can get it fairly fast All style are good with OpenCanvas ArtRage: simulating traditional medium like oil paint here and there Not really my fave but if you transite from traditional medium, it's nice
