TPG have a number of 24 7 Network Operations centres, so they probably detected the server down or DNS issue and fixed it I believe they still have a different call centre for Chariot customers so it will still be around for a while yet

I am with Chariot since August, ADSL1 though I am in the bush ( Blue Mountains ) on a Telstra port ( I presume ) I had different ISP-s on this port ( iinet, Internode ) in the last 4 years IMHO, Chariot is OK, so far Some drops happen, usually overnight, but this might be Telstra or some other reasons, rarely Only a few times I had to deal with them, usually via email I think they are OK
