I recently purchased a new computer and want to setup Thunderbird to use my ATT Yahoo mail account I went through the automatic process and got an "incorrect information" message I tried Yahoo's instructions and they don't match what shows up in the account setup in Thunderbird I am stuck and need some step by step instructions to set this up

Several days ago TB daily started asking for my ATT (Yahoo) password TB initially rejected my password but I did "forgot password" and added exactly the same password back since it was working on ATT (Yahoo) web mail

I spoke with an ATT Support representative who said Yahoo ATT has a global mail server problem that began about 4 months ago FYI, anyone attempting to contact ATT Support must now schedule a call-back in advance

But if you selected option to download email in local computers delete email in mail-server , then your emails are inside the folder in "backup" mail-account , then you have to select all emails in each folder in "backup" mail-account , and (right-click select) move emails into correct corresponding folder in new mail-account there are TB

I've seen variations of this problem a lot Emails from my att yahoo account have not downloaded on Thunderbird since October Server Type: POP Mail Server, Sever Name: inbound att net, Port:995, Connection security: SSL TLS, Authentication method: Normal password (although a secure mail code is being used and OAuth2 would not work)
