Amsoil, Shaeffers and T6 are all very capable fluids But, depending upon individual application of fluid and equipment, there may or may not be a clear "winner" above the others The real question is whether, in your specific situation, is a premium lube worth the additional cost, relative to the performance it can provide?

Both of those Amsoil filters look to have some leaf spring to end cap "seal" leak gaps The one with the smooth looking leaf spring must have a warped leaf spring that won't sit flat on the end cap The smooth spring one has much less leakage- and fits tightly in the filter The wavy one is not flat or square and fits loosely in the filter

Amsoil EAO filters tout 99% filtration @20microns, but the test done by Ascent Filtration Labs shows Fram XG 99% @15microns For the price, I would hope Amsoil is a better quality filter, but Fram seems to filter down pretty well Any thoughts?

I have always run Stihl 2-Cycle Oil in my Stihl trimmer and blower Someone at work convinced me to switch to Saber™ Professional Synthetic 100:1 Pre-Mix 2-Cycle Oil So I did, only difference is I noticed increased fuel consumption What or is there abenefit of the Synthetic vs the Stihl Oil
- Mobil 1 0W20 VS Amsoil 0W-20 Signature Series
Amsoil has 2 0W-20's that are API-certified, the 'XL' and 'OE' 0W-20 IF you want to go with Amsoil, maybe choose one of those I'm not an Amsoil user, but Amsoil fans seem to react pretty violently when the possible warranty implications of using Signature Series are brought up

Amsoil doesn't encourage extending OCI without UOAs, or in severe service conditions They also recommend regular filter intervals and there are qualifications on 100K+ cars I don't do super extended changes, but their recommendations, if followed, are sound; there are several 20-27K miles OCI documented on this site
