Hi, I do a lot of digital photography, and Windows XP's filmstrip mode has been vital to my work There really is no better way to view pictures at a glance and get rid of the bad ones quickly The preview pane in 7 and Vista is *not* a replacement for this You can't have it set to open on certain folders, and have to completely rearrange explorer for all folders when you want the preview pane
