- Why Does Everyone Use 800DPI? : r MouseReview - Reddit
Back when sensors were still improving massively, 400 then 800 DPI were stable while DPI's higher were considered unstable It's also why "dpi marketing" was such a big thing up until like 5-8 years ago Reply reply rbnsky • Some brands still think it is, or why would I care if my sensor has 26000 or 32000 dpi Reply reply More replies en_ei

- What DPI do you guys use for your mice? : r pcgaming - Reddit
800, higher DPI's require super low sensitivity settings in game for any decent aiming speed and you'd have a hard time with games that don't go low enough Personally I play CSGO at 800 dpi and 1 0 in game now Reply reply TheWombatFromHell • 800 Reply reply Skylight90 •

Stick to 800 DPI if you don't want the hassle I personally use 1600 DPI after switching to 1440p and it feels more responsive than the 800 DPI that I have used for more than 10 years
