It's a PNG file so it opened in Krita with no problems But when I started to color it the only colors I could use was white, gray, and black I changed the color selection so it shows that I'm using different colors but it keeps showing up gray Please tell me how to fix this

If Krita crashes before you had saved your file, then the next time you start Krita, you will see the file in a dialog that shows up as soon as Krita starts You can select to restore the files, or to delete them

Are there transparent parts to it, cuz the default color of the filled in background is grey So if you change the color to white, that might fix it

In the PNG menu when you save, there's a little dialogs box at the bottom that is related to transparency color Try changing it to transparent or white and see what happens

In the picture, the canvas is painted pure white, but it looks dark and grey The white also looks dark and grey when a colour selector docker is attached to the main Krita window (top right of the image)

A while ago, I got a new computer with Windows 11 installed Since I am an avid pixel-artist, Paint is still near and dear to me and I was happy to see it retained once more

It is possible that compression is doing something I haven't noticed that either, but of course I remember doing plenty of changes to various settings, when I got my new PC and started working with it

I've tested it with a friend and yes the images still appeared dulled to them, its as if the file becomes permanently edited to be that way Yes it is a personal PC, I was logged into a school account however i switched to my personal and it still seemed to happen
